Some patches to the DragonFly Mail Agent

These are a couple of patches to dma(8), the DragonFly Mail Agent — an MTA developed as part of DragonFlyBSD. You may fetch them all in a single shell archive — dma-patches-20090325-01.shar (PGP signed).

They are also available at the Ringlet Subversion repository (ViewVC).

• 01-trunk-build.patch — several fixes to make dma build on non-BSD OS's.
• 05-remote-error-messages.patch — display the error message obtained from the remote server.
• 06-quit-nonfatal.patch — treat a QUIT error as merely a warning as per RFC 2821.
• 07-permanent-errors.patch — recognize permanent delivery errors and bounce the message.
• 08-queue-list-all.patch — when listing the queue, also show locked (currently being delivered) messages.
• 09-typos.patch — fix two typos in the crypto.c messages.
• 11-trunk-double-bounce.patch — implement double-bounce handling via an external program.
• 12-man-q-argument.patch — note that the -q option requires an unused argument.
• 13-hardening.patch — check some more return codes from read/write library functions.
• 14-lock-new-files.patch — lock the temporary files after creating them.
• 15-trunk-bounce-message.patch — provide the proper error message on failed deliveries.
• 16-trunk-bounce-full.patch — add the FULLBOUNCE config option to include the full message in the bounce.
• 17-trunk-mailname.patch — add the MAILNAME and MAILNAMEFILE config options.
• 18-guess-username.patch — guess the username better when getlogin(3) is not available, e.g. no login session, no access to utmp/wtmp, etc.
• 19-ignore-options.patch — ignore a slew of sendmail options instead of silently failing.
• 20-parse-recipient.patch — implement the sendmail -t command-line option — parse the message itself to obtain the recipient addresses.
