bsdmainutils — a collection of FreeBSD utilities for Debian

After some discussion on the debian-mentors mailing list, here is a patch to the Debian bsdmainutils package to add the FreeBSD truncate(1) utility. The truncate(1) utility is actually taken from my truncate redistribution.

• bsdmainutils-truncate-6.1.6-01
  • the patch itself (PGP sig)
  • a shell archive (PGP sig) of the bsdmainutils/usr.bin/truncate directory — drop this into the extracted bsdmainutils-6.1.6 source and it ought to be enough to build truncate(1) along with the rest.
